R.
West & Associates Inc. was incorporated in the spring of
1993. The company originally focused on providing insolvency
services to individuals and small to medium-sized businesses
primarily in the community surrounding our office in Surrey.
However, because of increased demand from the other side of
the Fraser River and referrals from various professionals,
we established a second office in Burnaby in 1998.
R. West
& Associates Inc. prides itself on providing insolvency
advice that considers the needs and concerns of the debtor
while addressing the concerns of creditors. We recognize
that most people do not wish to go bankrupt. Therefore, we explore
alternatives to bankruptcy and, whenever possible,
facilitate proposals to creditors. We deal primarily with
individual debtors, whose unsecured debts range from $10,000
to a few million. |
Most
of our involvement with corporate insolvencies focuses on small to
medium-sized businesses. However, we have been involved in
corporate restructurings with unsecured debts exceeding a million
dollars.
If
your only alternative is bankruptcy, we make sure that before you
go bankrupt you are fully informed of the process and the duties
imposed on you, under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
Knowing what to expect can greatly reduce the stresses associated
